The inverted pyramid has a meaning! It stands for “Creation” and “Inspiration” in ancient Egypt which are part of our identity at Plastale. We don’t only create value for businesses but also inspire communities to be regenerative by utilizing plastic waste.

Story

Our story started in a small village in Ayat, Giza called Ezbet el Ward when our founder Abdallah was doing a project in Enactus the German University in Cairo in 2017 during his 4th year in university when the team found the village has big piles of plastic waste and lack of roof tops, in addition to high unemployment rates among youth and has bad health conditions because of working in red brick factories. Abdallah and the Enactus team got inspired by Precious Plastic projects and built recycling machines for the community and allowed the youth to build roof tops for their families from plastic waste.

Abdallah and Karim in 2021 and then Plastale came out, fueled by their passion towards innovation and sustainability.
